Building a Your Move School Team: Lessons from People Who Have

The Your Move program makes so many great rewards available to WA schools, including the new Connecting Schools Grants announced in July 2018, and the best way to take advantage of them is by creating a Your Move Schools team.

This forum will focus on helping School Champions engage and build an effective Your Move Schools Team to help share the load, run events and develop a culture of sustainable, active travel within your school community. Come away with new ideas on how to engage others in your school. Discover how to build momentum in an established Your Move program or how to create a Your Move program that is fun, appealing and inclusive to the wider school community.

Featuring guest presentations from engagement expert Dr Jane Genovese and a host of Your Move Champions who have successfully engaged a school team to help run their Your Move program, the forum will provide an ideal platform for planning Your Move in 2019.

Dr Jane Genovese has spent the past seven years engaged in research on behaviour and value change. She has worked extensively in schools, local government, and in her community to help create shifts towards more sustainable ways of living.
